Ahead of the curve
Travel Notes

As our amazing clients and educator friends are heading into the summer, we’ve can’t stop thinking about fall. Why? Let’s take a moment to reflect before we take a sneak peak forward.
Last year, as we celebrated our 35th anniversary, we reflected on how BRT has changed and how we’ve stayed the same – and that commitment to evolving according to the unique needs of our clients is a constant we’re proud of. It’s allowed us to stay one step ahead of our industry, an industry that we’re honored to have helped shape.
When Bob Rogers took the leap from high school band director to travel planning entrepreneur, there were essentially no travel agencies solely focused on educational and performance travel. He knew that the needs of student groups were different than your average travelers, so he created a company that understood that market inside and out. He hired educators as planners – a practice we still follow today – because who can understand what teachers need better than teachers?
Our itineraries evolved from typewriter documents to faxes to online review systems. Our communication became more efficient, as our clients wanted more succinct, up-to-the-minute information. Relationships are relationships, whether we’re connecting over coffee or over text message. We’re constantly adding new destinations, new performance venues, new activities and experiences. Our education veterans always know what’s current, what directors need and what students want, so evolving is our constant. And we wouldn’t have it any other way.
While we can’t share the details just yet, we’re going to be announcing game-changing new tools to seamlessly manage your performance tour and we couldn’t be more excited. Announcements and innovations like these never stop geeking us out – we’ve been dreaming up new ways to serve our clients for 35 years and counting.
So while you’re wrapping up your school year and dreaming of summer, know that we’re busy perfecting some ways to make your upcoming performance tour even more amazing. We can’t wait to share them with you, so make sure you’re keeping in touch with us and don’t miss a single update.
