Travel Notes
Broadway is BACK!
The long season of empty stages is finally over – Broadway has reopened to the world and we couldn’t be more excited! September marked the triumphant return of the world’s most incredible shows, bringing joy back to New York City’s Theatre District and delighting audiences The Gershwin to The Winter Garden. New York City has been one of our favorite destinations for nearly 40 years and we’re thrilled that we can make Broadway dreams happen again.
Best of Broadway for students
Which show should get a front row seat on your itinerary? We’re glad you asked! Every group we work with is unique, which means that every itinerary is customized to the particular must-haves of each set of performers. Some groups prefer the tried-and-true Broadway classics; others can’t wait to catch the hottest ticket in town. When it’s too hard to choose, some groups choose BOTH. (If you need inspiration and don’t mind shedding a tear, check out The Broadway League’s short film, welcoming audiences back to Broadway.)
Here are our most requested performances:
The Classics
- Chicago
- The Lion King
- Wicked
- Aladdin
- The Phantom of the Opera
Fresh Favorites
- Hamilton
- Come From Away
- SIX
- Dear Evan Hansen
- Hadestown
Beyond Broadway
There’s no shame in choosing New York City as your dream destination for the Broadway possibilities alone – but know there’s so much more to explore and experience in The City that Never Sleeps. We’ve dreamed up a million ways for students to take in New York City with itineraries that include:
- Taking a clinic – In New York City, you’re instantly in the company of some of the world’s most incredible performers – why not learn from the best?
- Honoring 9/11 – Though students today were born after this fateful day for our nation, honoring this hallowed site is a meaningful experience for every American.
- Performing in amazing venues – Awe-inspiring, larger-than-life stages are just waiting for your student performers.
- Experiencing a parade – It’s been our privilege to plan many a Macy’s Parade experience for schools from across the country.
If you’re dreaming of a New York City performance experience for your students, don’t wait! The City is one of the most popular destinations for student groups and you’ll need to plan early. So let’s get started! Reach out today
