Safety on tour – our best practices for traveling with students
Travel Notes
For more than 40 years, keeping our travelers safe on tour has always been our top priority. More than that, safety is a priority for our directors, parents, students and BRT staff.
Travel with confidence
Over the years, we’ve consistently updated and revised our safety best practices, working to anticipate what our travel groups need and integrating the latest technology into our standards. This allows our groups to travel with confidence, knowing their students are in good hands.
Since March of this year, we’ve been hard at work updating our safety guidelines once again to protect our travelers and give our clients peace of mind. Here are a few elements of our updated safety procedures:
- Travel clean – We ensure that all of our vendors, from transportation to lodging, restaurants to attractions, have cleaning and sanitization procedures in line with the CDC and local Department of Health guidelines.
- Travel confidently – We have established a health and safety task force who reviews all itineraries, making recommendations that prioritize student health and safety above all else. All of our Tour Directors have received additional safety training and will be conducting daily safety briefings, as well as diligently working with the Group Leaders to ensure appropriate safety protocols are followed.
- Travel memorably – While this season is a bit different, the memories your students will make will be just as incredible. Our itineraries will be crafted to ensure the safest, most memorable experience with the least disruption.
- Travel with assurance – Our Trip Assurance Program provides another layer of confidence for our clients, ensuring that if your group must cancel its trip, we’ll go the extra mile to ensure that your travelers receive the highest possible refund.
Now, more than ever, we’re committed to providing a safe and memorable experience for our travelers.
