Shed The Music
BRT has partnered with Shedthemusic.com to bring you daily music education content to use with remote learning.
We know many music educators have started remote learning for the first time, and we wanted to find every way we can help! In addition to our new “At-Home Lessons”, we have also partnered with shedthemusic.com to bring you daily lessons. Each week will bring a new theme, so be sure to check back often to see what is happing in the Shed!
This week will focus on writing music using a DAW. It will start with an eLearning field trip where students watch Bob from The Shed and Christopher Bill (Classical Trombone) write a song together using Soundtrap. Bob will then break down what is needed to write music using a DAW instrument by instrument: Tuesday- drums, Wednesday- bass, Thursday- chords, Friday- Melody.
This week focuses on ear training and singing. The majority of content will be surrounding the concept of solfege fill in the blank videos. One lesson will be released each day at various difficulty levels.
The first week consisted of building an understanding about how to
spell major scales using the circle of fourths. The second week will
contain five challenges that are designed to work on students’ recall
of the major scales. After week two, students will be able to recite
their major scales and identify target scale degrees.
The personal touches that BRT provides. Your company gets to know the people they work with. I have never felt like a "number" with BRT.

I appreciated the flexibility Bob Rogers showed us with the billing and various payments we had to make. We thought we were adding more and ended up not but you were great about giving us extra time to work out what we needed to on our end.
