Meet Julie
When it comes to travel planning, it’s all about the memories for Julie. An expert planner with more than twenty years of experience in the event planning space, Julie sees her work as an opportunity to provide memories that last lifetimes. Her own travels inspire her passion for learning about new destinations, venues and attractions, driving her to continually research the best and most exciting itinerary highlights for the educators she serves.

My favorite travel memory
My favorite travel memory would have to be my first visit to New York City. I had wanted to go for years, and the experience was everything I expected and more. The sights, the sounds, the smells! From Broadway to Times Square and Central Park, the entire trip was a dream come true.
My hobbies and pastimes
I am an avid baseball fan – both a lifelong Cubs fan and a cheerleader for both of my boys who play travel ball. I enjoy running and like to participate in various fun runs (Turkey Trot, Mashed Potato Mile, Food Truck Rally, Shamrock Shuffle) with family and friends.
My favorite movie character
My favorite travel destination is Cancun, Mexico. As a child my family spent many vacations in Mexico, soaking up the sand and the sun. I became so familiar and comfortable with the surroundings that I continued the tradition with my college roommate. Upon meeting my now husband, we found that both of our families had traveled many times to Cancun, and we continued the tradition. We actually got engaged in Cancun and continue to take our own family vacations there to this day with our two boys. After visiting over a dozen times, there is always something new to discover or a favorite spot to return to.
I have yet to have a less than stellar experience when working with BRT. Any small issue that may arise is always taken care of quickly and the stress is taken off the directors and the chaperones. It's truly a first-class experience and I end every trip excited for the next.
