Former band director Mike Wallace was always fascinated by the inner workings of the trip planning process – the destination research, vendor relationships and the energy buzzing behind the scenes. After partnering with BRT as a client on nine trips and making once-in-a-lifetime memories with his students around the world for 19 years, Mike joined the BRT team. He enjoys sharing his passion for both music education and travel with his peers and colleagues, making travel memories possible for even more students.

My favorite travel memory
My favorite travel memory has to be the first time I traveled to Ireland with my mother, grandmother and sister. I was able to connect with so many friends and family members I had never met, and re-connect with people I hadn’t seen in a long time. Driving on the “wrong” side of the road (…and the “wrong” side of the car) took some getting used to, but it got easier as time went on!
My hobbies and pastimes
I’m a die hard Cubs fan (a rarity for a South Sider), I LOVE all things Beatles, I play guitar and drums when I can, play in the occasional pit orchestra, and I enjoy cooking and grilling.
My favorite travel destination
I’d have to say it’s a toss-up between Ireland and Las Vegas. I love the peaceful serenity of Ireland, along with the friendly people, but I also love the hustle and bustle, and energy of Las Vegas.
The personal touches that BRT provides. Your company gets to know the people they work with. I have never felt like a "number" with BRT.

I appreciated the flexibility Bob Rogers showed us with the billing and various payments we had to make. We thought we were adding more and ended up not but you were great about giving us extra time to work out what we needed to on our end.

BRT is always on top of all details. We have always been so well taken care of and the personal attention is what makes your company special.
