Moments That Matter Scholarship
The benefits of student travel are many . . .
. . . but the costs are sometimes greater than a student’s family can afford. Bob Rogers Travel’s Moments That Matter Scholarship was created to ensure that exceptional students with financial need can experience the excitement of student travel.
Who is eligible?
A trip participant is eligible if they are enrolled in a school or educational program, and if that same school or program is planning a tour with Bob Rogers Travel which will travel in the next 18 months. The applicant must be a participating student on the upcoming tour; chaperones, adults, and non-participating students are not eligible.
Scholarship winners can be awarded up to $500.
Applicants should have a financial need for this scholarship. BRT will consider up to five (5) applicants per traveling group but will award no more than one (1) scholarship per group.
When are applications due?
Applications are due by 3:00 PM US Eastern Time on November 7, 2025. Scholarship recipients will be announced by mid-December, 2025.

What important information should I know?
Make sure you read the full rules at the bottom of this page. Additionally, please note the following rules of particular importance:
- Entries must be completed by the student.
- Applicants should have a financial need for this scholarship.
- Applications will be scored based on response content, creativity, and professionalism. The more meaningful and engaging responses will likely score higher.
- Applications must be submitted through the official form linked to this page. Applications received through any other method will not be considered.
- Applications received after the submission deadline will not be considered.
- Applicants for this scholarship face strong competition
- Not every traveling group will receive a scholarship. Only students who distinguish themselves from the others will have a chance at receiving a scholarship.
The scholarship competition is currently closed.
Applications for the Moments That Matter Scholarship will be accepted beginning in September 2026.
Official Rules
Multiple applications will not be accepted and will result in disqualification. Entries must be completed by the student. Employees of Bob Rogers Travel, immediate family members and business partners are not eligible. Applications must be received by 3:00 PM US Eastern Time on November 7, 2025.
Only applications submitted through the designated electronic form will be considered. Mailed, emailed, or faxed applications will not be considered.
Applicants should have a financial need for this scholarship. BRT will consider up to five (5) applicants per traveling group, but will award not more than one (1) scholarship per group. If more than five applicants are received from a single group, only the first five, based on date and time received, will be considered.
This grant is subject to all federal, state and local laws. Void where restricted or prohibited. All applications become the property of Bob Rogers Travel. Bob Rogers Travel reserves all publication rights thereof. Acceptance of award constitutes consent to use recipients’ names and submissions for editorial or publicity purposes without further compensation, except where restricted or prohibited. Awarded funds must be utilized by the student on a future trip planned by Bob Rogers Travel, which must travel within 18 months of the date of the award. Scholarships are non-transferrable.
I have yet to have a less than stellar experience when working with BRT. Any small issue that may arise is always taken care of quickly and the stress is taken off the directors and the chaperones. It's truly a first-class experience and I end every trip excited for the next.
