Meet Courtney
A seasoned world traveler, Courtney believes that travel has changed her, so naturally she loves to see firsthand how students are impacted by their initial travel experiences. Her impeccable attention to detail and dedication to quality for all BRT tours are the result of more than eleven years of working closely with performance groups all over the world – not to mention a degree in hospitality management and dietetics. From the Pantheon in Rome to Main Street at Walt Disney World, Courtney’s travel experiences have given her a global perspective she is eager to share with students and their group leaders.

My favorite travel memory
When I was six months pregnant with my first child, my husband and I backpacked through Croatia. When we booked the flight, I wasn’t pregnant and I was a bit nervous traveling so pregnant far away from home. But it was an amazing experience – like here – the Croatians were so kind to me! Old ladies would come up and touch my belly, offering blessings. Young men would offer up seats on the bus or in restaurants. Croatia is a beautiful country with beautiful people.
My hobbies and pastimes
I am obsessed with taking care of my two children. Their attitudes and character are always so genuine, they are inspiring. I also am very active at our church leading a couple small groups. Spending time with friends and family, watching movies with my hubby and planning other people’s vacations are all things I enjoy doing.
My favorite book
Before kids I loved serious/dramatic books like A Prayer for Owen Meany by John Irving and The Killer Angels by Michael Shaara. But now I like to read more to relax and take my mind away. So I was part of many who went crazy for Harry Potter and Twilight. They were both well-written series, with interesting characters and completely fictional!
The personal touches that BRT provides. Your company gets to know the people they work with. I have never felt like a "number" with BRT.
