David’s years of experience as a band director continue to inspire the work he does today as a Travel Consultant with BRT. For six years, he worked with middle and high school students, directing concert, marching, jazz, percussion and pep bands, as well as pit orchestra and adult ensembles, so he knows what music educators need when it comes to inspiring and leading their students. David loves that his work with BRT keeps him closely connected to the music education community and allows him to serve directors while continuing to positively impact students.

My favorite travel memory
My favorite travel memory has to be when I took my high school band students on our trip down to Orlando. Performing with them at Disney World and getting to build stronger relationships with them outside of the classroom in a different educational environment was a more gratifying and valuable experience than I had ever anticipated.
My hobbies and pastimes
Outside of travel, music and fitness are two of my biggest passions. I’m a percussionist and pianist, and love to perform. Attending concerts in the city or at local parks, like Ravinia, is always fun. I also enjoy doing just about anything that keeps me outside and staying active.
My favorite travel destination
Do I have to pick just one?! I love exploring new destinations and take every opportunity I can to do so. However, I tend to enjoy tropical destinations with beautiful beaches and palm trees! Costa Rica and Hawaii are recent favorites.
Moments that Matter …
David has been very knowledgeable and extremely helpful and patient with us throughout the process. We traveled with you guys last year and he organized everything and our kids had a wonderful experience.
