Meet Todd
From an early age, Todd and his sister Tami were exposed to a world of music and travel, which inspired them to step into their father’s shoes as the second generation of leadership at BRT. A percussionist with a degree in finance from the University of Iowa and nearly 20 years of experience in the travel industry, Todd consistently brings new ideas and innovative thinking to the business. His passion and focus on strong customer relationships continues to strengthen his dedication to upholding the company’s principles. Whether he is visiting clients at their schools, enjoying student concerts or simply sharing a meal, these personal connections, in large part, account for his successful longevity at BRT. Helping students experience new events through travel is Todd’s primary motivation. He is driven to discover new ways to enhance travel experiences and revolutionize the industry.

My favorite travel destination
Travel has always been a big part of my life. I really enjoy experiencing different cultures and seeing the world. My favorite travel destination is Kauai, Hawaii. My wife and I particularly enjoy relaxing and enjoying the beautiful scenery of the Princeville area on the north side of the island. It’s a magical place. I strongly believe that everyone needs to incorporate an annual vacation into their schedule to recharge their batteries.
My hobbies and pastimes
One of my favorite pastimes is to attend sporting events. I like to cheer on the Chicago Bears, White Sox, Bulls, Blackhawks and Iowa Hawkeyes. I also enjoy spending time outdoors, especially on the golf course. Finding leisure time with family and friends is also important to me.
