Big City Dreams: Our Top Five Destinations for Performers

Feb 12, 2022

Students across the country are hitting the road this spring, bound for awesome destinations with amazing performance venues and selfie-worthy attractions. But where should YOU go with your student performers?

Today, we’re shining the spotlight on five of our favorite destinations, so kick back and indulge in some travel daydreaming with us!

Orlando

The crown jewel of the Sunshine State is one of our most requested destinations – and for good reason! Major attractions, exclusive performance opportunities, amazing weather year-round and an atmosphere that seems designed for celebration all make Orlando a great choice for a first (Or second! Or 20th!) trip for students.

New York City

Oh The Big Apple, let us count the ways – oh wait, we DID count the ways right here! It doesn’t get more “big city” that New York, with iconic sightseeing, BROADWAY, once-in-a-lifetime performance venues and awesome clinics. So many of the schools we serve make a trip to New York City part of their program year after year.

Chicago

Hands down our favorite, because who doesn’t love their hometown? Chicago offers so much to student performers, from the incredible arts scene to the museums to the food (we’re forever deep dish loyal). Need more reasons to visit our backyard? How about ten of them!

Nashville

You could call Nashville the new kid on the block of our top five list; but the truth is, we’ve been exploring Nashville with students for years and have loved every minute of it. For a laid-back, fun-filled, big-city-meets-small-town experience, Nashville can’t be beat. Where else can your students experience a studio recording session, visit the Grand Ole Opry and step foot on the Ryman Auditorium stage all in one trip? They don’t call her Music City for nothing, y’all.

Los Angeles

Talk about travel daydreams – who wouldn’t want to shake off winter for some fun in the sun, a stroll down The Walk of Fame and endless celebrity sighting possibilities? A trip to LA is basically a choose-your-own-adventure experience – from beaches to mountains, theme parks to Hollywood, there’s just so much to do. And if you’re there for a huge televised event, there’s even more excitement in store for your students!

Have you been dreaming about a destination that’s NOT on this list? These five may be some of our most popular, but we take students everywhere – from nearby locales to life-changing international destinations. If you’re ready to start planning, we’d love to learn more about you
