prepare for a student trip

Have you been dreaming about traveling with your students but aren’t sure where to start? Do you want to start weaving travel into your program but need to get your administration on board?

Sometimes, we find the best way to get your program on the road is to start simple. While it may be exciting to consider the endless destinations, attractions, activities and opportunities available to your and your students (because we really can take you anywhere and do anything), the sheer number of options might be feel overwhelming. Today, let’s talk simple travel, tried and true destinations and how to make it happen.

Where?

Every year we lead student travel experiences in destinations across the country and around the world. So if you have dreams of walking The Great Wall of China with your students, we can make that happen. But if you’re more interested in a simple first performance trip, we’d suggest a few spots a little closer to home:

Keeping your trip simple may mean driving to a nearby destination instead of flying, choosing a shorter trip to keep costs lower or working with a more relaxed itinerary instead of an action-packed schedule. Every trip we plan is fully customizable, scaled to your group’s goals, preferences, budget and needs, so your simple trip can be exactly what you need it to be. And we can help you figure out exactly what that is.

When?

When should you travel? The short answer is any time, if you book far enough out to land the destination that you want. With that said, many of our clients choose to travel in the spring or fall, given the scheduled school breaks and mild temperatures. Your simple trip will fall on a convenient spot for your calendar, whenever that season may be. We can recommend trip possibilities during all four seasons:

How?

Planning a simple trip includes keeping payment simple, too. Whether your trip is a 3-day adventure in Washington, D.C. or a 14-day tour of Western Europe, paying for BRT travel is easy through our Individual Payment System (IPS). Our clients love it because they don’t have to manually track student payments or collect money – everything is done through the system, but each student family. Nice and simple.

Travel shouldn’t be complicated, intimidating or financially out of reach. It would be our pleasure to give you all the ins and outs of how travel can be a seamless and exciting addition to your program. You can reach out online or give us a call at 800-373-1423 – we look forward to chatting with you!
